TAG Tech Center is a vibrant community technology and creative arts hub powered by The Community Initiatives of New York (TCIONY). Located in the heart of Harlem, we were created to make technology, professional equipment, training, and creative opportunities accessible to everyone—regardless of age, experience, or income.
Our center brings youth, creators, families, and community members together to learn, create, and grow. From podcasting, photography, music production, coding, and robotics to computer classes, digital-literacy workshops, and community seminars, we provide the tools and hands-on experiences people need to bring their ideas to life.
Young people enrolled in TAG programs receive free access to our programs, mentorship, and career-building opportunities. We also provide affordable access for local creators and community members who want to strengthen their skills, explore technology, or level up their craft.
At TAG Tech Center, we believe talent exists everywhere—but access does not. We are here to help change that.
Through strategic partnerships with Earthquake Entertainment and Jireh Productions Group, TAG Tech Center brings together extensive industry experience in music, media, production, technology, and creative development. These collaborations allow us to provide our youth, creators, and community members with professional instruction, real-world knowledge, and the highest level of expertise available.
Our Experts
Faheem Abdur-Raazzaaq, Tech Director
Faheem Abdur-Razzaaq is an experienced technology educator, cybersecurity specialist, and media production professional. He holds a master’s degree in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Information Systems from John Jay College, where he also serves as an adjunct lecturer. His expertise includes computer programming, robotics, podcasting, photography, filmmaking, audio engineering, music production, and digital security. With decades of experience teaching youth and managing technology programs, Faheem leads the TAG Tech Center’s technical programming and helps participants transform their creativity into practical skills and career opportunities.
